Description

Class Experience

Students will learn proper form and exercise techniques.  They will create a fitness journal that they can work on individually after class and strive to improve. 
I am a former member of a Marine Corps Sniper Team.  All of our training was extremely high-level.  We routinely ran 5-10 miles daily.  We often walked upwards of 25 miles to reach our destination.  All of our muscle training was calisthenic in nature (using only body weight).  Physical fitness was a daily part of life.  I love to help others develop a love for fitness
None required.  Fitness journal optional.
Drinking water (bottle, plastic cup *no glass cups, please)
Gym clothes (or any loose fitting clothes that are comfortable)
Journal-- for goals and to track progress
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The student will keep a fitness journal and self assess progress. 
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Your student will need a small, clutter-free area to perform bodyweight exercises (calisthenics).  

Please provide your student with a clear, hazard free area.  

Keep pets out of the area during the class for safety reasons.

Have your student wear loose fitting attire--or gym clothes--with sneakers.

Please provide your student with a bottle of water--or a cup of water--no glass cups, please.

Students may take short breaks, as needed, to catch his/her breath.

Each class will begin with a greeting, a light stretch, and a short warm-up.  

* Class times are approximate.  Class length varies based on student ability and number of enrolled learners.  Classes are designed so they will not run longer than the time allotted.  I will try to lengthen classes due to a late start--when possible.

** Late/Missed class policy:  All classes will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom.  In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 minutes have passed.  Class recordings are available to all learners.
