This is a class for German beginners. We will learn some of the key vocabulary words from the book „Die kleine Raupe Nimmersatt“ („The Very Hungry Caterpillar“) through story telling and by playing games.

Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to understand and pronounce the vocabulary words: Apfel, Apfelsine, Birne, Erdbeere, Pflaume, Raupe, Schmetterling, Blatt, Sonne. Students will practice to introduce themselves. Students will get familiar with the numbers 1-5 and days of the week in German. Students will listen to the story „the Very Hungry Caterpillar“ in German.
Memory Game of the vocabulary words. Children can cut out the memory game and play it with their parents, friends or siblings and try to use the German names for the pictures.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
