Class Experience

- get a feeling for the german language by listening to the story
- learn german words
- understand the context of a story, even though they don't understand every single word
- engage with other learners and the teacher through conversation (in English and German)
- get immersed in german language by talking, listening and singing
- lose fear of making mistakes while speaking a different language
- enjoy themselves in an open and fun atmosphere while still being focussed and engaged
I am a native german speaker. I grew up in Germany and have been in the United States since 2009.
There will be no homework, but if learners are interested in going deeper, I will send out vocabulary lists if you ask me.
There are no materials needed.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
