Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner - Advanced Level
Individual German tutoring and coaching in any area, for any grade/level. Beginner German, Intermediate German, Advanced German. Students will work with a German Native Speaker teacher, who specializes in multilingual education and has taught international students for more than 15 years.

In this ongoing, private 1:1 German Intensive Tutoring Class, the learner will work playfully on their specific language goals and challenges. They may specifically work on their pronunciation to enhance the correctness of the learner's German language skills, or practice their reading, writing, or speaking skills in this class.
The class is highly interactive, the learner will interact with the tutor also through slides, lectures, quizzes, and discussion.

Due to the nature of this private, individual 1:1 course, the topics of each lesson will be determined through assessment before and after each session. 
Possible topics for the lessons could be (in accordance with the learner/family):
Week 1 from February 7th: Assessment, Specific (Pronunciation) Lessons and Exercises (e.g. German Articles and Cases)
Week 2 from February 14th: Re-Assessment, Special (Dialogue) Lessons and Exercises (German Articles and Cases)
Week 3 from February 21st: Re-Assessment, Special (Reading) Lessons and Exercises (German Sentence Structure, Cases)
Week 4 from February 28th: Re-Assessment, Special (Writing) Lessons and Exercises (German Sentence Structure, Cases)

This is the possible structure of a Private Tutoring Lesson:
- Check-in and Short Assessment
- Lecture
- Exercises (Quiz, fill-in the gap, multiple choice, ...)
- Correction
- Discussing Challenges
- Plan for the next lesson
- Homework

- If learners like to discuss homework/their own materials, please upload the materials/documents at least 24 hours before the class starts to ensure that the teacher can prepare accordingly for a successful lesson.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
The teacher will use google slides during the lessons for new vocabulary, for example. It is not necessary for this class to set up a google account for the learner.
Supply List
Students might need some paper and a pencil or pen during class. The teacher might send PDFs or images for homework or class prep.
