Class Experience

Hi!
In this class we will be reading 1-2 stories per week.
There is no knowledge needed from previous lessons. Every story stands on its own.

The stories are written in big fond and will be screen-shared as a powerpoint presentation, so that every learner will be able to see and read without problems.
We alternate reading sentences and make sure that everybody gets a turn and that everybody understands the meaning of the story line.
The language spoken is (mostly) German, but there might be some more difficult words that can be explained better with translation into English.
We will also talk about topics or sayings that come up in stories, e.g. why people think that boys are better in playing soccer or the German saying (Hast du Karotten in den Ohren?) Do you have carrots in your ears? Meaning: Why don't you listen to me?
I also make a point to let everybody express their (different) opinions.

The stories of the next couple of weeks will be the following. (This is subject to change depending on the learner's interests and skill levels)

Moat of the stories are from books of the german Leselöwen line by Loewe.
