Class Experience
This class is taught in German.
I am a certified teacher with a Master's degree and a Native Speaker of German with no accent. For more than 15 years I have taught in Germany, France, UK, and Canada.
To interact with others and receive feedback from me, the learners are able to upload a picture/video to the classroom. Students will be able to interact with each other through the week in the classroom by replying to each other's worksheets and videos. Students will also be provided with a Kahoot! game to play at home for one week's assignment.
Learners may need paper and pencil to draw and/or take notes. They will also receive flash cards with the new vocabulary that can be printed out each week.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Young learners may need parental help to access the Outschool classroom, the youtube videos, or to download the materials. Learners will make their own videos and drawings to present themselves that need to be uploaded into the classroom. You may also use a computer program such as Word, Google Document, or Canva to make a PDF to upload. This is up to the family's preferences. Parents should be aware that we will be using youtube videos in this class to watch the tutorial. Learners will also use Kahoot! for an interactive quiz challenge. Instructions will be given in the classroom.
