Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in German.
I am a Native Speaker of German, born and raised in Germany, certified to teach in Germany and Canada. I speak German with no accent and I have taught languages for more than 15 years in public and private schools in Germany, France, UK, Canada, and online.
Learners are expected to complete tasks outside the meetings (approximately 60 minutes/week). The learners will receive additional learning materials such as PDFs, online quizzes or creative tasks to work on as asynchronous work.
Learners may need some paper and a pen or any digital note-taking device. The expert will provide digital and virtual supplies, such as PDFs, quizzes, documents, etc.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
The learners are assessed based on frequent quizzes and a bigger project every six weeks, if they wish.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
In this class, we will occasionally use Nearpod and Kahoot Quizzes through a link that the teacher shares with the learner. The learner will not need to sign in. In addition, we might use a Google document for written assignments and vocabulary. Occasionally, the teacher will share educational, appropriate youtube videos to provide additional material.
