Geometry is everywhere, from the design of buildings to the patterns in nature. In this ongoing class, students will explore the fascinating world of shapes, angles, and spatial reasoning through interactive activities and real-world connections. Perfect for curious learners, this course makes geometry fun, engaging, and practical. Each week, we'll dive into a new concept, using real-life examples to make geometry come alive! Whether we're exploring shapes, angles, symmetry, or even 3D objects, students will see how geometry is all around them and develop a strong foundation in geometric thinking.

Week 1: Introduction to Shapes
Topic: Explore basic shapes (triangles, squares, circles, etc.)
Activity: Shape scavenger hunt around the house

Week 2: Understanding Angles
Topic: Introduction to angles (right, acute, obtuse)
Activity: Create a simple angle finder

Week 3: Exploring Symmetry
Topic: Understanding symmetry and identifying symmetrical objects
Activity: Symmetry drawing challenge

Week 4: The World of Polygons
Topic: Introduction to polygons (pentagons, hexagons, etc.)
Activity: Polygon art project

Week 5: Perimeter and Area
Topic: Learn to calculate the perimeter and area of basic shapes
Activity: Measure and calculate the perimeter and area of household objects

Week 6: Understanding 3D Shapes
Topic: Introduction to 3D shapes (cubes, spheres, pyramids, etc.)
Activity: Build 3D shapes using everyday materials

Week 7: Tessellations and Patterns
Topic: Explore tessellations and how they work
Activity: Create your own tessellation pattern

Week 8: Geometry in the Real World
Topic: Discover how geometry is used in architecture, art, and nature
Activity: Design a geometric structure or pattern
