Description
Class Experience
In this 1:1 class, students receive individualized help on this specific Geometry topic: translations in transformations. This includes the following: ◼translating a preimage on a coordinate plane ◼recognizing a translation and determining the units and direction of movement ◼writing standard notation (also called "writing the rule") for translations ◼stating coordinate points after a given translation Learners in Geometry use these types of problems extensively in the Transformations Unit...
Learners should have paper and pencil and be able to annotate on the screen during class.
A 5 question assessment is available upon request. Students may complete the short assessment provided to the student (with answer key) after class if parents wish to use it as an informal assessment.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
