In this 1:1 class, students receive individualized help on this specific Geometry topic:  reflections in transformations.  This includes the following:
◼reflecting a preimage on a coordinate plane
➡over the x-axis and y-axis
➡over a line (x = a number and y = a number)
➡over y=x and y=-x
◼naming the line of reflection

Learners in Geometry use these types of problems extensively in the Transformations Unit and as it appears elsewhere in the course.
  
Prerequisite knowledge:  Learners should already know how to graph points on a coordinate plane.

I'll walk your learner through all of the vocabulary and concepts listed above, with illustrations utilized throughout.  Learners may re-take this class for further depth of knowledge.  

Students will need to be able to annotate on the screen during the class.  This is a very interactive class, with student engagement crucial to success.

I use scaffolded instruction, which simply means that I provide more support at the beginning and gradually students work more and more independently with each new problem.  I provide guidance and feedback throughout the lesson.
