Beginner Level
Who's ready to eat some marshmallows? We will begin by learning the important vocabulary needed in order to complete our marshmallow activity by completing a foldable. Then, we will review what was learned before moving on to the activity by having a brief group discussion. Following the teacher's instructions, the students will begin to recreate the vocabulary using marshmallows and toothpicks to represent the points and lines. The teacher will then ask each student to share their model of a specific vocabulary word before ending the class. For this course you will need: -Paper (preferably colored for the foldable but not required) -Pencil -Markers -Scissors -Ruler -Marshmallows (preferably the mini size given that they are easier to work with) -Toothpicks (about 10 is acceptable) -A paper plate or extra sheet of paper to work on while using the marshmallows

Students will be able to identify and produce geometric attributes such as a point, line, line segment, ray, and angle.
