Homework
1-2 hours per week. Each lesson is followed by an assignment that will help students to reinforce the concepts learned during class. Assignments due for the week are posted on the class announcement at the beginning of each week. All assignments are submitted electronically. Students receive feedback within 24 hrs of each submission.
Assessment
Summative assessments will be optional and available to students. The goal is to provide students with exposure to what a standardized assessment looks like without adding the anxiety that comes with testing. Student achievement will be measured formatively in the form of discussions, and assignments.

Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 11
📆How is this class structured?
I will post new instructional materials each week. The duration of each video is 7-10 min long. Students are expected to watch the video provided and answer the quiz that follows the instruction. Additional homework, practice, and vocabulary cards are also provided.

🌸Can I earn credit for this class?
Students who complete the full unit (and their assignments) can submit this documentation and apply for credit at their local school. Many schools also offer an option to test out of this class and place into other higher math units.

🌸I struggle in math, can I join this class?
Absolutely! Remediating students in math is one of my specialties.
