Class Experience

"In real life, geometry has a lot of practical uses, from the most basic to the most advanced phenomena in life. Even the very basic concept of area can be a huge factor in how you do your daily business. For example, space is a huge issue when planning various construction projects. For instance, the size or area of a specific appliance or tool can greatly affect how it will fit in to your home or workplace, and can affect how the other parts of your home would fit around it. A  graph paper notebook, ruler and pencil.  A great attitude a plus.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

 The material covered in class is sufficient to do the assigned homework successfully.
The assigned homework should be treated like a take home exam, that is why the solutions are enclosed.
This class employs  the honor system.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
