Pre-requisite: Algebra 1 Class Experience: Students will learn geometry and be confidence in answering problems and SAT/ACT Test questions. Each concept is presented in step by step, easy to understand, and interactive lesson. This first quarter course will include the following topics: 1. Understanding, Points, lines, and Planes. 2. Measuring and Constructing Segments 3. Measuring and Constructing Angles 4. Pairs of Angles 5. Using Formulas in Geometry 6. Midpoint and Distance of the Coordinate Plane 7. Transformations in the Coordinate Plane 8. Using Inductive Reasoning to Make Conjectures. 10. Conditional Statements 11. Biconditional Statements and Definitions 12. Algebraic Proof 13. Geometric Proof 14. Flowchart and Paragraph Proofs 15. Lines and Angles 16. Angles formed by Parallel Lines How is the class structured? We will begin with: Warm-up exercises will be posted on the board. Students will answer upon entering the class. Followed by: Teacher checks student’s warm up exercise. Teacher presents the topic. He explains the concept and show illustrative examples. Teacher provides Guided and Independent Practice Questions for mastery. Challenge: Word Problem SAT/ ACT Test Questions Exercises For extension: Games, Puzzles, and Videos End: Evaluation, Recommendation, and Homework (Optional) Note: Students are reminded on consultation outside of class hours. Teaching Procedure: 1. Meet and greet. All students are welcomed warmly to the class. 2. Lessons will be posted on the screen using Outschool platforms. 3. There will be ample illustrative examples of how problems can be solved. 4. Each student are given chances to ask questions after the lesson. All questions can be given orally or written on the chat box. 5. All guide practice and classwork will be shown on screen and shared. My Teaching Style: Each student will be given careful attention because I believe in individual differences. Each learner has his own unique set of skills to learn something. All students are given opportunities to express themselves comfortably and freely under class rules and school policies. I promote student-based lessons in all my classes. How much will learners get to interact with the teacher and his peer? Aside from the class discussions, there will be group activities where each student is encouraged to present their own ways of solving a problem. Games, puzzles, and video clips are included to promote critical thinking and stronger analytical skills.

Sometimes the teacher will share screen to google slides, play games using or show videos using; youtube, edcuation.com, Kahoot, baamboozle, or Quizlet. The students will not need an account. The material is appropriate for young learners.
Supply List
Paper, Pencil, notebook, ruler, calculator, and the teacher will provide worksheets when needed.
