In this 45 min session, students will build a better understanding of angle relationships and how to use them to find angle measures.

Title of Lesson: Angle Relationships

Objective: Identify special angle pairs and use their relationships to find angle measures.
The lesson will be broken down into 4 parts.

Vocabulary: adjacent angles, complementary angles, supplementary angles, vertical angles, linear pair, and angle bisector

Part 1: VOCABULARY REVIEW 
Students will identify the word that corresponds to the given definition. All answers will be housed in the chat and viewable to me only.

Part 2: EXPLORE ANGLE RELATIONSHIPS
Students will explore vertical, adjacent, complementary, and supplementary angles. We will also discuss angle bisectors and a linear pair.

Part 3: ANALYZE DIAGRAMS 
Students will practice identifying key information from a diagram and draw accurate conclusions. We will address and clarify common misconceptions and assumptions students frequently encounter.

Part 4: WRITE AND SOLVE EQUATIONS
To conclude the lesson, students will practice writing and solving equations based on angle relationships.

Students are expected to actively engage in each part of the lesson and to ask clarifying questions freely and confidently. Although intended as a review, this lesson can also serve as an introduction to the topics listed above.
