- Student will learn how to adjust from an algebra mindset to a geometry mindset and understand the difference.
I have taught and tutored math for over 20 years at a range of levels and diverse learning abilities, including 13 years teaching online. My master’s degrees and state teaching certificates are in Secondary Mathematics Education, Education of the Academically Gifted, and Adult Education. I have been recognized by the Mathematical Association of America and received their Sliffe Award for Distinguished Mathematics Teaching.
I have 20+ years of experience teaching (and parenting!) students with a Section 504 Plan (IAP) or Individual Education Program (IEP), gifted & twice-exceptional students, and students with ADHD, while maintaining high academic standards.
