Beginner Level
This self-paced video will guide a student through strategies to be successful in high school Geometry. Students who are preparing to take Geometry, want to improve results in a Geometry course, or are retaking a Geometry course will benefit from these suggestions. Having a geometry mindset is as important as memorizing a lot of theorems, and these strategies will help students with both of those objectives and more. Common mistakes and challenges are addressed, such as making assumptions based on the way a figure looks, confusing shapes with measures of shapes, not knowing the best way to take notes, or not having a system to memorize theorems, postulates, formulas, properties, and definitions. For more individualized strategies and geometry skills, students can also enroll in my 1:1 tutoring sessions on Outschool.
