The Geometry course is structured into four quarters with nine, one-hour sessions per quarter. The second quarter covers key concepts including, triangle inequalities, angles of polygons, properties of parallelograms, rectangles, and more. The classes are designed for students ages 13-18 and are relevant to students who need challenged in their current math studies, including 9th grade students who would benefit from support, and 10th -12th grade students who need a review of their...
2nd Quarter concepts covered include: • Triangle Inequalities • Inequalities in two triangles • Angles of Polygons • Properties of Parallelograms • Conditions for Parallelograms • Rectangles • Rhombi and Squares • Trapezoids • Kites
Homework is not required, however problem exercises are available for students who would like the additional practice.
Students will need a notebook and calculator to participate in the course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
