In this 6 week course, we will explore the wonderful world of rocks. We will be learning about the rock cycle, minerals, sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic rocks and erosion and soil. We will also share our rock collections each week!

Class Experience
I just love rocks! Don't you? Everytime I am hiking in the woods, at the beach, or even just at the park with my family, I am always picking up and discovering new rocks. Have you ever wondered what makes each rock so unique? How do they form? How do they get such beautiful colors and shapes? In this 6 week course we will discover all of that and more! We will also be sharing our own personal rock collections with each other and working in a student journal along the way! I hope you...
Students will learn the life cycle, properties and types of rocks as well about soil and erosion.
