Class Experience
This ongoing class will discuss the geography of the United States. We will discuss where each state is located and fun facts about each state. This class will meet for 25 minutes once a week. Every week a different state will be discussed. The students will be part of the process to pick which state we discuss every week by being chosen randomly to choose the state. Each week we will discuss the location of the state on the map and whether it is near any geographical land forms such as...
The students will learn about the United States geography including land forms and the location of each state. They will also learn about map skills and how to read a map. The students will also learn facts about each state.
There will be no homework required or assigned.
A worksheet will be provided on the first day of class for students to keep track of the states discussed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
