Plannning a trip to Europe? Visiting Italy, England or France? Need to brush up on your European Geography! Let's get you prepared to travel! ~ What will students learn? ~ 1. What is the difference between a continent and a country? 2. Where is Europe located? 3. What is the population of Europe vs. the other continents in the world? 4. Which countries make up Europe? 5. What is the weather of Europe? 6. Which languages are spoken in Europe? 7.What is the significance of Big Ben, The Eiffel Tower and Leaning Tower of Pisa? 8. Which animals are native and/or exclusive to Europe? 9. Which foods and meals are enjoyed in Europe? 10. What is a Gladiator? Join us on a trip, as we learn the physical geography, culture and languages of Italy ( Venice, Rome), England ( London,) and France (Paris.) We will visit the landmarks of Big Ben, Eifel tower and the Colosseum. ~ How will students be evaluated? ~ There will be a series of formative assessments through discussions and activities. You will be provided with a handout that you may, optionally, submit for feedback. Students will receive feedback to their exit ticket response.
