Do you want to be a Geography Master? Let's do it together! We will have fun learning about the different geographical regions of Europe, as well as naming each country. Each class will begin with a Kahoot challenge in naming European countries. Then, we will dive into an engaging lesson about one region of Europe. We will color and label a map of the countries in each region. We will use Power Point, pictures, and video clips to discover the geographical features of each region. Each class...
Students will be able to identify the countries of Europe and their respective capitals. Students will be able to describe the different geographical characteristics of the four regions of the Europe.
Students are recommended to study the countries and their capitals each week so that hopefully by the end of the fifth class, they will have all of Europe memorized.
1 file available upon enrollmentA map or Europe will be made available for the students to print out. Students are recommended to bring colored pencils to class. It is also strongly recommended to download Kahoot on a smart device so the student can participate in the Kahoot games.
We will be using Kahoot to self-assess knowledge of the states and their capitols.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
