Have you learned (or are you learning) the names of all 50 states and their capitals? Looking for a fun way to test your knowledge with your peers? Then this is the class for you! Students will engage in fun interactive games on Kahoot! where they will test their knowledge and have fun engaging with other students. This class is informal and designed to let kids have fun with other kids who are learning states and capitals. The highest cumulative score over the three days will receive...
Students will practice good sportsmanship while playing the game and engage positively with their peers. They will also work on appropriate social skills for a virtual classroom.
Students will be provided 2 handouts for review 1. List of states and capitals 2. Map showing states and capitals
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents may download the app to a secondary device (preferred/ easiest method), or access the following web address- Kahoot.it. If they plan to use just one device, they should become familiar with moving back and forth between the zoom classroom and the Kahoot screen.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students are free to download the Kahoot! app to a secondary device like cellphone, iPad, etc. (preferred method) or access the following web address- Kahoot.it. If they plan to use one device they should become familiar with moving back and forth between zoom and the Kahoot screen. I will enter the secret game PIN at the beginning of our class.
Handouts will be sent to student in the Welcome message when they sign up for class.
