This weekly class is aimed at UK Year 1 (one) and US kindergarten. The curriculum is based on the UK national curriculum and covers various topics including landforms, bodies of water, map skills, weather conditions and more! Fall 2022 Start!

Class Experience
This ongoing course will develop the following: Locational knowledge Place knowledge Human and physical geography Geographical skills and fieldwork
Aina is an IB teacher.
Optional homework tasks will be set at the end of each class
Learners will have a worksheet for each class. Grownups should print or copy the worksheet for learners. Please also bring pencils, colors, glue or scissors as necessary to complete the worksheet. (Parent supervision)
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please remind your learners not to share any identifying information (cities, addresses, schools...). Learners may share their country (if you are comfortable with this). During the "My Area" topic, classes will be kept general and factual. Learners will not be asked to share what their local area is like. Instead this will be set as homework that can be completely privately with their grownups. Please supervise learners when using scissors and glue (where applicable).
