Geography Class for Little Explorers: Learn About the World as You Colour!
What's included

30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
I’ve always loved to travel and wanted to create a course where I can share my passion with my students. Students will travel to a different destination around the world every week. We will learn fun facts about each country. I will facilitate the lesson with information and questions for each country. We will discuss geographical location, animals, language, food, landmarks, and maybe even more! I keep the class size small because I want to give everyone a chance to speak and share their thoughts or ask their questions. I also try to incorporate movement to keep my students engaged. A colouring sheet will be provided for each lesson. Students can colour and keep their hands busy while we learn about the world. The colouring sheet is optional. List of destinations (subject to change based on student interest): Week of August 21st: Norway Week of August 28th: Paraguay Week of September 4th: Sweden Week of September 11th: Oman Week of September 18th: Switzerland Week of September 25th: Laos Week of October 2nd: Chile Week of October 9th: Spain Week of October 16th: Algeria Week of October 23rd: Pakistan Week of October 30th: Cuba Week of November 6th: Mozambique Week of November 13th: Greece Week of November 20th: Colombia Week of November 27th: Slovenia Week of December 4th: Trinidad and Tobago Week of December 11th: The Netherlands ❄️ Winter Break ❄️ Classes resume in January More dates will be added I will be using slideshows, videos, websites, and personal pictures during this course. It’s a small class because so much of the lesson is discussion based. *If there is only one learner in a section, I will teach it for a few weeks (at least 3). If a second learner does not join after a few weeks, I will contact you to let you know when I intend to close the section.
