Students will explore continents, regions, and countries of the world while looking at the animals that live there and their influences upon the people there. Students will work on how to make predictions about animals based on exploring the geography and climate of each continent.
Each week students will be given an optional assignment which would require them to spend time answering questions by researching the answers online. Homework, which is optional, may take about 30 - 60 minutes each week.
Students will need access to the internet to research the answers for questions each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students can turn in their assignments for a grade or for a completion grade if they need one for their home school requirements. Parents, please let me know which one you prefer at the beginning of the semester.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
