In this class we will be going around the world to study the geography and history of a specific country or region. There will be a different part of the world each week, and we will review in great detail the specific history and geography of each region and/or country. Here is a list of the first 6 topics for this class 1: Greenland 2 : Korean peninsula 3: Mongolia 4: Costa Rica 5: South Africa 6: Australia The class will be interactive with questions asked of each student, and the goal is a dialogue between everyone involved.
Learning Goals
The goal is to become informed global citizens which will give the students to power to make choices about their future lives.
