Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learners will have fun playing together in a safe, moderated environment.
I am a daily Genshin Impact player and am a member of other Genshin communities worldwide. I am also an experienced Outschool teacher and have enjoyed monitoring open gameplay in private channels that I host and manage privately on my own website and Discord channel. I also have years of experience running a dance studio and homeschooling co-ops for kids 3-18.
Download Genshin Impact on a PC or mobile device: https://genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/download?gclid=CjwKCAjwtcCVBhA0EiwAT1fY76Gkf1vn1r5ti7_p7qhQzin8Z8_qzkOzcagR21TGNWQkUyPZlFDNrRoCVw8QAvD_BwE For co-op play you must be at a minimum of Adventure Rank 16 on American server. Optional: for added gameplay complete the Serenitea Pot quest (A Teapot to Call Home).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Genshin Impact is rated PEGI 12 because it features depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters (similar to Breath of the Wild or Smash Bros). There are some in-game purchases available, so you might want to adjust your payment settings to an option that requires authentication in order to avoid accidental purchases. There are no ads but learners might be tempted to purchase items spontaneously, so be sure to monitor your child's purchases. In co-op play there are few situations where conflicts can arise, but I will monitor all interactions and go over class rules and expectations at the beginning of every class. I require learners to speak kindly to one another and avoid inappropriate language.
