Let's share our love of Genshin characters by sharing our fan art! You can use traditional art mediums, like pencil and paper, or share your digital creations on your tablet or drawing device. I like using Procreate to draw my characters and will be demonstrating both traditional and digital drawings of my favorite characters. If you are new to drawing anime, we will spend some time each week focusing on a different technique. If you're already familiar with these techniques and instead would like to work on your own work in progress, you are welcome to do so and keep us company! Our optional weekly themes are as follows: Week of October 28: NPCs: Favorites and OCs Week of Nov 4: Character stickers Week of Nov 11: Saurians Week of Nov 18: Snezhnaya concept art Week of Nov. 25: Classical painting style Week of Dec 2: Gartic Phone Week of Dec 9: Manga cover art style Week of Dec 16: Backgrounds Week of Dec 23: Unfinished art challenge My classes are very relaxed, supportive and encouraging. While we all have our own opinions, students are encouraged to express them in a kind way; I do not allow students to "trash" certain Genshin characters. In this social chat group we practice online etiquette and manners. At the start of each class we will review some examples of how to deliver constructive feedback to our fellow classmates. My classes are heavily student-led and I am always open to suggestions and ideas from learners for future weekly themes. My classroom is an inclusive space and I welcome diverse and neurodiverse learners of all backgrounds and abilities. I would love to know if there is anything I can do to make sure your learner's needs are met!

Parental Guidance
Note: we will not be playing Genshin Impact in class and you are not required to access any external sites or tools. However, your learner might feel the need to research their characters independently, such as performing an internet search for images. Please monitor your child's access to these types of resources, as internet search results for Genshin Impact may not always be child-friendly. The game Genshin Impact is rated PEGI 12 because it features depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters (similar to Breath of the Wild or Smash Bros). There are online communities of adults that share fan art that may not be appropriate for young viewers navigating the internet without moderation.
Supply List
- Traditional art mediums of your choice: pencil, paper/sketchbook, eraser, colored pencils, gel pens, Micron pens, etc. - If you prefer digital art you can bring your preferred medium: tablet with Procreate, Illustrator, etc.
