This 5-week class allows students to explore topics in genetics. This class will consist of lecture videos made by the instructor, and they will be posted for students to follow along with. The Powerpoints have words, pictures, and discussion based questions. Although supplemental material is given, the assignments are based on the videos and Powerpoints only. The assignments are designed to allow the student to interact with the material, rather than just trying to memorize.

You are DNA! Learn about what DNA is made of and the steps of DNA replication. Learn a bit about me, the instructor, too.

Learn about types of RNA and RNA replication. We'll also cover how mutations occur in DNA and RNA, and examples of them.

Learn about protein synthesis while doing an interactive activity about it.

Lesson 4:
Heredity
Learn about heredity and how genes are passed down. We'll do practice on Mendel's pea plant experiments too. Also, ask me any questions about biology or genetics- I'll answer all of them.

Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Arizona State University
I have a BS in Biological Sciences (Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior) and am currently in a doctoral program for Audiology. In my undergrad career, I have taken and excelled in genetics and genomics.
