Description
Class Experience
Learners will engage in a short discussion on what genetics are and the importance of them in our every day lives. This is the third course in the All About Genetics Course Series. During Genetics- Dihybrid Cross learners will pull a set of traits out of list provided and complete a dihybrid cross of the specific traits they have chosen. After they use the FOIL method to help construct their punnett square learners will figure what all the possible genotypes and phenotypes combinations....
Students will improve their punnett square skills to determine possible offspring.
Handouts will be provided before scheduled section.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
