US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
In this course, students will dive into some basic types of weather: rainy, cloudy, snowy, and sunny. We will use our imaginations to visit weather! Students will get a chance to show the items that they use or need for each type of weather, for example bringing winter gloves and putting them on. We will travel from cooler weather to warmer weather and discuss our favorite things to do during each season. We will also discuss the importance of predicting the weather. This lesson is fun...
I have aligned this lesson to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Please feel free to message me on Outschool for any other types of standards and I will be happy to align it. Students will be able to understand and define different types of weather. Students will be able to understand seasons and their weather. Below are some item examples that students may want to bring to class. It is suggested that students bring 1-2 items from each category. Snow: gloves hat jacket boots scarf ear muffs Rain: rain boots rain coat umbrella *anything that may be used/needed when it is raining outside, or used when coming in from outside in the rain* Sun: hat sunscreen water bottle fan flipflops *anything that may be used/needed when it is sunny outside* Students are welcome to bring other items that may relate to other types of weather also!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
