Description
Class Experience
No homework necessarily but after your garden is planted, you'll need to take some time each day to care for it!
No materials are needed for Class One. Required for Class Two: -Some sort of container to plant in. This could be a 28 oz can with holes drilled in the bottom (for a smaller garden), a clay planter etc. I use a variety of containers but for part of my balcony garden I have 5 gallon buckets with holes drilled in the bottom for drainage! -Potting soil -Vessel for water (watering can, measuring cup, anything will do!) -Seeds (we will discuss what seeds work best in certain areas in our first class, these aren't needed for class one!) Optional for Class Two: -Small shovel or trowel -Gardening gloves
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
