Class Experience

***** This is a gameplay class. We will not be teaching learners how to play Minecraft.
Welcome, Minecraft players!
In this summer camp, we will play one of the most famous games in the world. The goal of this class is for learners to meet other learners that share the same interest in the game Minecraft. Whether you enjoy survival mode or creative mode, this is the club for you.
The class will be structured as follows:
An introduction towards the beginning of class.
Rules and expectations
Learners will be divided into small groups depending on the mode they would like to play.
For example Breakout Room 1 bedrock
                      Breakout Room 2 Java
                      Breakout Room 3 Dungeons
Each breakout room will have 3-4 players in them.
This class will be a part of a POD. The plan is to have learners play together with their friends.

Learners must have a Microsoft account that they use to play Minecraft.
Learners should know how to connect with other players via crossplay or have an adult present that can help them.

What is crossplay?
Crossplay is when learners connect to play a game on different devices.

My goal for this Summer camp is for all of the learners to play and discuss the game during each class.

Learners will discuss tips and tricks about Minecraft and help each other succeed in the game.

Week of May 23rd,
learners will be placed in breakout rooms to discuss and play Minecraft.

Week of May 30th,
learners will be placed in breakout rooms to discuss and play Minecraft.

Week of June 6th
learners will be placed in breakout rooms to discuss and play Minecraft.

*Before being placed in breakout rooms we will discuss rules and regulations, and we will make sure everyone is friends with each other.

*Each meeting will stand alone. Learners can join this class anytime.
