What's included
1 live meeting
1 in-class hours per weekClass Experience
Welcome to Call of Duty: Warzone Gaming Club. Your learner can join me and other learners on a 1 hour action packed, last team standing free PvP game that will challenge us all. I will be joining with your learner all throughout the class, Warzone will challenge your learner to exercise their strategy making skill, communication skills and decision making skills, 3 skills that are vital in order for us to get the win! We will be joining public lobbies in the game. There are a ton of benefits with playing video games, aside from what was mentioned, video games promotes teamwork, conflict resolution, increase hand eye coordination, the ability to self assess and respect for self and others. This is a great way to be social at a time when physical contact is discouraged. We will begin with a quick introduction then we will start by joining a lobby, each class is a private team, we will not allow anyone to join if they have not signed up for the class. After every match, each learner will get an opportunity to share their experience and assess ways they could improve on the next match. If you have any questions or concerns prior to scheduling with me, please feel free to contact.

Parental Guidance
Please be aware, Call of Duty: Warzone is Rate M for Mature (depicts war and violence). This should be reviewed to ensure that you allow your child to be playing Rate M games and are comfortable with your learner playing Rate M games. There are settings to disable violent aspects. I will be showing these setting during their first time in the class. Teacher expertise and credentials
The most important part of playing video games is being able to restrain yourself from getting frustrated. As a Special Education teacher, I work on social skills with my students and playing games in general is a great way to learn self control and differentiate that " It is only a game". Also, I am an avid gamer! I have played Call of Duty since it first came out.
