In this one time fun, interactive course, students will learn Minecraft terms in Spanish! This is a beginner level Spanish course intended to introduce students to Spanish vocabulary! No prior knowledge or experience with Spanish is necessary! The course will include slides for vocabulary introduction, review, and pronunciation. We will then play various games as a whole class, in small groups, and in pairs! Games will include Tic Tac Toe, Find the "espada", and Charades! Who will be the "ganador"?!?

Google slides are used for some activities via screen share.
Supply List
Please bring sheets of paper and something to write/draw with for the games. The PDF of the vocabulary will be made available in the classroom before the live class. Each student will also receive games boards in the classroom to print and use during class. The website we will access is for an interactive board game. See you then!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. I taught Spanish at a traditional public middle school for 11 years and at a traditional public high school for 3 years. Currently, I am the administrative supervisor and instructional leader of the World Languages Department at a traditional public high school. I have experience teaching all core content areas at the elementary level in a traditional school classroom, as well as in a bilingual classroom. I have been teaching Spanish courses on Outschool since June of 2020!
