50 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this interactive social club, we will meet weekly with others from around the world to play games, chat and just hang out! This class will be a small group to ensure quality interaction. Even a shy learner will be able to come out of their shell and interact with others their age as we have fun playing games, discussing our favorite movies or video games, and just hanging out having fun! Class will begin by catching up on our week, followed by a game of Pictionary, Scattergories, Taboo, Charades, or one of many other oldies but goodies! My favorite is a good old scavenger hunt!! These games, and many more, will provide tons of interaction between students as we learn and have fun together with others from around the world! This class will be interactive all the way! Any class time remaining can be free chat for the kids to talk to each other about their favorite movies, songs, video games, hobbies, pets, whatever they want to chat about! I will guide the discussion and monitor the flow. It is important that anyone enrolling is able to read and write, as the games we will play require those skills. Please take this into consideration to ensure that your little one has a successful experience in class. Responses to games will often have to be sent via the chat option in zoom, and students will also need to be able to use the whiteboard in the zoom meeting as well from time to time. I am super excited to get this class going! I have so many great ideas for so many different games that we can play together via zoom! See you there! Ms. Marie Ms. Marie:)
Learning Goals
Participants will practice patience, taking turns, and practice listening to one another and responding in a group dynamic.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will need to know how to read and write to actively participate in the games we will be playing.
Students will also need a white board, dry erase marker, or paper and a thick marker.
Chromebooks do not allow for students to participate in Pictionary, so students will require a device such as an Ipad or Laptop.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree from University of Prince Edward Island
Do you have an animal lover in your life? Or perhaps a future zoologist, veterinarian, or conservation minded young learner? Then you've come to the right spot!
My name is Marie, and as an Animal Science teacher, I would love to teach your child all about the amazing animals in this world!
I have taught over 20,000 students on Outschool, and I have 18 years of experience teaching at all levels.
I believe in eliciting as much student output as possible. Learners are encouraged to ask questions (and to share knowledge on each topic) as we learn together.
When I am not playing an instrument, I enjoy watching every nature show in existence alongside my children, learning as much as I can about the weird animals in the world so that I can bring it to the classroom and share it with your child!
I look forward to meeting your learner in class!
Ms. Marie
