🎮 Create Your Own Epic Platformer Game in Scratch! 🌟

Get ready for an exciting journey into game development! In this class, students will learn what makes platformer games so cool, including how gravity, jumping, and challenges come together. Then, they'll build their own platformer adventure with Scratch! 🚀

Whether you're new to coding or already love creating games, this class is perfect for students ages 7-12. All skill levels are welcome!

Our small class sizes (just 6 students!) mean everyone gets plenty of one-on-one support from the teacher while coding a game they’ll be proud to share!

This is an interactive, project-based class where students follow along as we guide them step-by-step through coding their game. the teacher will share their screen, provide live demonstrations, and troubleshoot with students in real time.

A computer with Zoom (and screen-sharing enabled).
Internet (3mbps+).
Speaker, mic, and webcam (no iPads, please).

A grown-up helper for the first 5 minutes to set up!

Parental Guidance
Students will use Scratch to participate in class. Students must access the Scratch account using a laptop or a computer in class (no smartphone or tablets). Students will use their own Scratch account to code while following instructions from the teacher. Students may continue to use their Scratch account outside of class.

⚠️ iPads are not recommended. Please have an adult available for the first 5 minutes to assist with setup and troubleshooting.

At Coco Coders we teach children between the age of 6-14 how to code at our Live Online Clubs and Camps through exciting themed content such as architecture, fashion and conservation to name a few. Coco Coders has been teaching children how to code since 2016 at in-person and live online clubs and camps. We have amazing teachers on-board who are super passionate in helping your child get future ready! 

We don't believe in creating a world of little computing scientists but we created a curriculum that allows our students to gain an understanding of computational thinking concepts for whatever career they choose to go into in the future!
