Do you enjoy video games? Have you ever wanted to create your own game? MIT's Scratch is a block coding program that allows you to create animations, games and more. Learn the basics of coding while creating your own players, prizes, enemies, timers, scoring and more. No background knowledge of Scratch is required. You will be guided through the creation of your account and game. The class will be broken down as: Class #1 - Create Scratch accounts, learn the basics of Scratch blocks, code basic controls of a player Class #2 - Code prizes and enemies Class #3 - Code scoring, time and more. We will also have the opportunity to play each other's games at the end as well. At the end of this class, you will have a shareable link to your game for all your family and friends to play.

My name is Seth Guttenplan and I have been teaching since 2009. I have been teaching on Outschool since 2017.
