Using multiple-choice videos, students will learn positions on the floor, areas on the court, the responsibilities of each position, defensive strategies, offensive tips and more. Week One: Initial Assessment is given to determine baseline levels. We build from there. - Learn the areas on the court and how to utilize them - How to use angles - How to use areas to your advantage - Moving without the ball - Moving with purpose Week Two: Students will learn positions on the floor and how they form a cohesive unit. - Characteristics of each position - What coach expects from each position - How positions interchange and why Week Three: Students will learn the responsibilities of each position and get professional tips. - Learn who is responsible in different game situations - Learn what to do in certain situations Week Four: Students receive a post Assessment. - How to read the defense - How to get more rebounds - How to score against different types of defense
