In this one-time class, we examine Galileo's life, scientific discoveries through science experiments, his contributions to astronomy, and his history with the Roman Inquisition.

Galileo is my all-time favorite scientist! He was an incredibly amazing man who stood up to the Roman Inquisition to champion his scientific discoveries. The way that his scientific discoveries and inventions were uncovered will also be discussed. He is known as the "father of modern physics" and the "father of observational astronomy." Fun facts about Galileo will be revealed. A Powerpoint presentation will display the images of this time in history and the scientific advancements of the man...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
