In this class, students will learn how to draw a Narwhal in a galaxy and ocean setting! Using pencil, pen, ink and watercolor students will be provided with the base inspiration. Students will be encouraged to add their own style, colors, and creative choices to the scene. We'll talk through the technique of creating the Narwhal, stars and planets. Once the project is complete students can optionally share and talk through their creation. *IMPORTANT - Students will need to PRINT the base illustration before class. They will need this print out to participate. Parents if you don't see a time that works for you request it!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to create a Narwhal, use a mix of ink, pen, pencil, crayon and paint, and importantly discover there is no right or wrong way to create art! Enrollees will be encouraged to make their own creative choices, and presented with ways to add in their own signature style.
