Class Experience

In this four week camp we'll have lots of fun while exploring scenes of of friendships between girls, and making new friends with our fellow readers!  Each day we will warm up with theater games, then dive into reading a scene of dialogue between girls- to learn more about different types of relationships- from sisters, to friends, to kindred spirits. We'll try out different techniques like changing inflections and delivery, and explore how differences in our voices and teamwork can enliven a...

  1 file available upon enrollmentTake a look at the scripts provided before class if you get a chance, but there is no need to print them out. We will all be able to see them in class together as we read through them.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

 These sources are all optional, as scripts for each day's scenes will be provided, and prior knowledge of the material is not necessary for the camp. However, if you are curious to explore-  Little Women, Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea, Baby-Sitter's Club-The Truth about Stacey and Mary Ann Saves the Day are the sources for our scenes.
