Is your child a huge Gacha fan like mine? Let’s turn that interest into a fun and collaborative learning experience! This ongoing class will be structured in a fun club style format. While this is an ongoing class, students can come and go from week to week as their schedule permits, since this is a club class and each week does not build upon the next. At the start of each class, I will lead students in a brief welcome discussion. Any new students will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss their Gacha experience. Next, students will brainstorm ideas for today’s Gacha design themes. After students contribute ideas, students will each choose a Gacha design theme for the session, and we will then move into the design portion of the class. Students will have about 10-15 minutes to work in Gacha Life, Gacha Club, or another related editing app to work on their creations. Lastly, students will have the opportunity to share their creations with each other and describe any specific techniques used. They can also offer positive feedback on each other’s creations! Come join us, Gacha Life fans! Let’s have some fun!
Learning Goals
Please note, this class is a social club, not an instructional class. The intent of this class is for children to be able to come together in a safe online setting to discuss a common interest and to simply have fun! Students will have the opportunity to develop social and conversational skills while creating with fellow students. As the instructor, I will guide class format and facilitate, to encourage students to discuss, negotiate thematic topics, and to share their creations. Hope to see you there!
