Future Chef's Baking Club (Yummy Sweets)
Class Experience
Students will be taught about a variety of tools used every day in the kitchen. They will learn proper technique for measuring ingredients, preheating the oven, creating different foods from recipes. There is no better application of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) than through cooking and baking. We will discuss the science behind the way some foods are made. - Students will build and improve on kitchen skills as they create delicious sweet baked goods. This class focuses strictly on desserts and other baked sweet treats.
I am a seasoned "home cook", having been working in the kitchen with my family for over 40 years. I have been educating children professionally for 15 years. I have been teaching cooking and baking classes on the Outschool platform since March of 2020.
