In this one time class, students will learn the fundamentals of art such as shape, form, shading and color theory. This class is beginner friendly and contains easy tips to understand art fundamentals.

Homework
Students are encouraged to finish their illustrations outside of class time if they could not complete the class in the allotted time.
Assessment
At the end of the illustration, learners will be asked to share how they implemented the art theory they learned in the class.

Class Experience

In this class learners will learn the basics of art such as Shape, form, shading and color theory.  We will learn about the theory of art with the help of several visual examples. 
No prior art knowledge is needed for this class as it is a beginner friendly class. The students need nothing more than a pencil, eraser and pencil colors. This class is for all beginners who want to start their art journey and learn all the basic fundamentals to get started. 
Students are encouraged to provide feedback and ask questions during class.

Hi! I’m Shraya, a passionate art educator with a love for helping people of all ages unlock their creative potential. With dual degrees in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from Park University, my artistic journey has been diverse and exciting. 

I’ve had the honor of winning the first-ever Art Battle in San Francisco and contributed illustrations to the award-winning book "One Way to Ask," which earned the prestigious Davinci Award for design. Additionally, I had the privilege of working on the renowned Pakistani Truck Project, featured at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City.My artwork has been exhibited across Kansas, Missouri, and California, reflecting my commitment to creating and sharing art. 

Over the years, I’ve taught students ranging from children to seniors, including after-school programs with Young Rembrandts and classes for the older generation through Seniors Creating Art. Whether it's guiding young learners or fostering creativity in adults, I bring a fun, engaging, and enriching experience to every class. Let's create something amazing together!
