Class Experience

Day one:
Striped treasure pouch. 

Day two:
Water cup. Yes, you can drink from the paper cup! I'll also show you how to turn it into a toy

Day three:

Day four:
Water balloon. Yes, it holds water!
I started folding origami because both of my boys went through a phase where they couldn't get enough origami!

I own a mobile and online art school. We have taught hundreds of art workshops in public libraries, and teach afterschool enrichment in two public school districts.

I'm also the Art Specialist for a small private school South of Boston where I teach grades K2 to 8. 

I have a BFA in Ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and I'm certified in the state of Massachusetts to teach Visual Arts.
You can use 6" x 6" origami paper OR any paper that's easy to fold such as printer paper, magazine pages, junk mail, lined paper, etc.. Please have at least three pieces of 6" x 6" paper, precut for the start of each class. Day one: >3 pieces of 6" x 6" paper > Markers in a variety of colors. Optional: >Washi tape (decorative Japanese tape) Day two: >3 pieces of 6" x 6" paper > 6 inches of string or yarn > 2 inch piece of aluminum foil > clear tape (two pieces) > Markers in a variety of colors. > A glass of water. Day three: > Precut of 6" x 6" paper >2 pieces of 8.5" x 11" paper (A4) > Markers in a variety of colors. > Scissors Optional: >Washi tape (decorative Japanese tape) Day four: > Precut 6" x 6" paper >1 piece of 8.5" x 11" paper (A4) > Markers in a variety of colors. > Scissors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
