Class Experience

This 8 session class will cover the essentials for understanding Algebra II Function Notation and Parent Functions as well as all the foundational skills for mastering Polynomial Functions.  Mathematicians will learn about parent functions from equations and graphs to applications in the real world.  This class will also prepare students for the specific study of each function covered this year in Algebra starting with the use of exponents, the distributive property, and factoring.  Although...

Handouts will be provided.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
