In this one time class, we will briefly discuss how snow is formed, make fake snow, and make a fun "snowball" shooter.

In this one time class, we will begin by briefly discussing how snow forms. We will discuss appropriate clothing we should wear when it snows. We will make snowman snowball shooters with items from around the house. Students will make fake snow with only two ingredients! This will provide an opportunity to uses adjectives to describe the snow using some of our senses. How does it look? Smell? Feel? Finally, as time permits, students will be able to share their own snow experiences. If they...
Snowball shooter: white paper or Styrofoam cup, balloon, scissors, black and orange markers, marshmallows or cotton balls Fake Snow: box of baking soda, foamy shaving cream, container for snow, paper towels I also suggest a towel or tablecloth under the container.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is suggested during the activities.
