Fun With Short Vowel Pals: Phonics Playtime

In this class, we will practice vowel sounds with each of the Short Vowel Pals - Apple's matching, Egg's hunt, Inch's itsy bitsy picture find, Olive's odd one out, and Up's under the umbrella. Great for children identified with dyslexia, or just to build basic reading and phonics skills for any child.

Class Experience

Students will build their knowledge of the short vowel sounds, apply those sounds to reading vc and cvc words, as well as apply to simple spelling of the sounds within vc and cvc words.

This class will be a foundational support for reading using cute characters and hopefully engaging activities.
