In this multi-day class students will discuss how to take good photographs and share their pictures with a group. Class 1: Project Introduction We will meet the photographers and play a Would You Rather game with photographs. Then students will discuss light, angles, distance, and backgrounds in photography. Class will end with the sharing of the scavenger hunt list. Photographs are to be taken in-between classes. All objects will need to be photographed outside and shared in Outschool...
Students will learn about the basic elements of photography and practice taking photographs that demonstrate their understanding.
I am currently a technology lab teacher at a K-5 stem school where students focus on using technology as tools to create.
Students are required to take photographs outdoors based on the scavenger hunt list and then upload them to the Outschool classroom.
Students will need a camera, smart phone or device with a camera app.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

Students will evaluate their own performance based on their photographs.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students are expected to take photographs outdoors and may need parental guidance or supervision.
